Senior at J.R. Tucker High School
Dustin and his brother Devon came to VHBG in 2005. Dustin moved to Independent Living this year. After spending two years at the John G. Wood School, he returned to public school last year. He’s an assistant manager at Quiznos where he has been working for three years. Dustin observed, “I was a little nervous when Devon and I first came here, because I didn’t know what to expect from a group home, but we couldn’t keep moving back and forth between relatives.” Andrew Parker, his IL counselor says, “When speaking to Dustin, his intelligence is evident. And he’s funny too. People are just naturally drawn to him.”
