VHBG is a licensed provider of Therapeutic Foster Care. Therapeutic Foster Care (TFC) is foster care with structured therapeutic support. Children placed in treatment foster care need additional help, because of trauma they have experienced, along with possible emotional or physical challenges. Treatment foster parents work with the VHBG team to create a home environment that is healthy and supportive, as well as intensely structured, in ways that benefit children with special needs, such as the following groups:

We offer foster care services for ages newborn to 18 in all levels of care. Become a Foster Parent If you are a responsible, caring adult with a special place in your heart for kids, you would probably make a great foster care parent! Professional Foster Parents are trained in the highly successful Teaching-Family Model and receive 24-hour on-going support and a monthly stipend.
