Capital Campaign to raise $4,500,000 nears goal

The capital campaign for the new school building and the purchase of an Independent Living home in the community is close to reaching its goal with $640,000 in funding still needed.

The new John G. Wood School will open in September 2007.  Students will say good bye to the old basement facility that has housed the school for 35 years. The new campus centerpiece will feature aesthetically designed classrooms, library, healthcare center and a music and arts center. “The new John G. Wood School will have an incredible and far reaching impact not only on our campus but on our community as a whole,” commented Executive Director Chris Schultz.

The Pathfinder Independent Living Home in the community will help bridge the gap from childhood to self-sufficiency by offering support and guidance to young adults as they enter the real world and take on adult responsibilities.
